Mrs. Eddie Bigness visited Fort Dodge last week while Mrs. Ivan Pinnow of Ortro Wis joined her mother Mrs. Kathryn Pinnow and aunt Mrs. Mary Babler. The group visited West Bend and met Mr. and Mrs. Roy Steven of Exmarisburg. Lena Geigle accompanied the Deans and Dora Dean of Corwith to Carl Kancenberg’s in New Hampton. The Fisher and Eugene party spent Sunday at Hiram Thompson’s near Humboldt. L. A. Warren of Des Moines and Mrs. Frank Sheldon of Pasadena Calif visited Dr. F. M. Crawford’s home last Friday. Will Anderson hosted Sunday dinner near Goldfield and joined relatives at Eagle Grove. Mrs. Elston Ashpole, with mother Mrs. Tolleson of Eagle Grove and Miss Boanie Christenson of Goldfield, returned from LaPorte Ind. where Mrs. Ashpole tended to her son Richard.

Spellinyer Richard Recovers From Truck Crash
Richard Spellinyer was unconscious for four days after a truck accident and has shown marked improvement. He works as a driver for Eldon Willey in Eagle Grove. Weekend social notes mention visits by John Kubly and his wife to Humboldt, Pauline Kissi teaching in Washington, Keith Cook of Sioux City at the Klassie home, a Maxwell wedding, and several Humboldt area visitors. S. H. Burchfield of Humboldt, a Democratic candidate for State Representative, visited Renwick.
