Birthday observances and club activities span local groups

A Sunday gathering at Walt Antz home honored birthdays October 1 for Mr. Attig and Marilyn, with well filled baskets. The 5.05 Bridge Club at Archer home had three tables, prizes for high scores to Mrs. A. HB Stafford and Mrs. George Latchlow, with Mrs. Floyd Lane earning a draw prize and dessert luncheon. Vermililty club to meet Thursday afternoon at Mrs. D. J. Christenson’s home with Mrs. RAL Goettsch noted as feeder. WSCS members attended Hardy observance with a birthday cake and eleven candles. Baptist Mission Circle met at Mrs. Oscar Engstrom’s home with devotions and a lesson. Renwick Woman's Club plans annual guest day in the Methodist Church annex with a committee led program.

The St Pauls Lutheran Brotherhood met Monday evening with Haymond Darland as topic leader.
