Cars Crash at Junction South of Hardy Sunday

Me and Mrs Albin Lareen and Mrs W G Snyder with two grandchildren visited Lake City over weekend. On Sunday afternoon at junction with No 10 south of Hardy their car collided with another as rain blinded the driver. Several in the Larson car were thrown out and injured lightly. Larson drove home. The other car had a man in back and a woman driver. the woman was unhurt. Names not given.

A severe storm Sunday afternoon brought sheet rain and heavy hail for about twenty minutes. Cars blocked roads as the storm moved through, accompanied by small twisters a few miles east of Renwick. Farm injuries included damaged buildings and the loss of many chickens and other live stock.
