Ten sections across Vernon and Lake townships are pooled as a game refuge. Nicov land in sections five six seven eight of Lake and nineteen twenty twenty nine thirty thirty one thirty two in Vernon will be posted and held as a game refuge with ample cover for game. Deputy game wardens Earl Saxton and J M Hartmann aided in signing the tract.

Donald Uraylan and family moved to Somers last Monday. Kronk Binck traveled to Excelsior Springs Missouri last Monday for treatments. Mrs R M Goettych left yesterday to visit her daughter Mrs E L Kelly in Tucson Arizona. Several Eastern Star members attended a 6:80 dinner and initiation at the Eagle Grove chapter Tuesday evening. We had real March weather last week with cold and warm days, a little snow and rain.

Mrs W H Kraft Dies After Operation In Hampton
Mrs. W H Kraft, long resident of Boone township, died Tuesday morning at Lutheran hospital in Hampton after a serious operation and a relapse. Funeral services are set for Friday at 1 30 at the home and 2 30 at the Lutheran church.
