Hans Knutson born February 24 1868 in Bergen Norway died June 23 1898 at his home in Lake townetly Humboldt County Illinois after a prolonged illness. Survived by wife Alma Jehngen and six children Kare Helen Kenneth Alvin Rachel four brothers and one sister in Norway. Funeral services held by Rev Beverts from the Lake Lotier church, burial in Lake cemetery.

Visitor Injures Williams in Britt Road Crash
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Williams of Mason were riding with friends when a second car veered from a side road onto the main highway near Britt and crashed into their vehicle. Mr. Williams suffered numerous broken bones and internal injuries and was taken to Magon City Hospital. Mrs. Williams escaped injury as both cars were badly wrecked.
