Berwick Town Council Special Session Reappoints Officials
The Berwick Town Council met in a special session at 11 30 am in the Town Hall with Mayor Schnetzer presiding. The council, including Ferme Klasse Clar ete Hefty Dr Rotrald Guss Emmie Etters Fay Paine and Darrell Matteson, witnessed oaths of office for the mayor and town clerk and began officer appointments.

Saturday afternoon visitors in the Charlie Trash home included Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Irelan of Eagle Grove. Eldon Walter and Mrs. Fannie DeMooy returned Thursday from Coleman Michigan visiting Eldon Walter’s mother and the Walter families. Wednesday supper guests at the Art Skiye home were Mr. and Mrs. Larry Rasmussen and families and Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Amerson and Ellene from Goldfield. Hals seventh birthday was celebrated. Mrs. Skiye and Iny treated Hals on his birthday. Carroll Potter returned January 10 from a California trip visiting relatives in Montebello Stockton and Southgate. Mrs. Cecil Brock of Gilmore City and Mrs. Ruby Walkner of Hardy were guests, and Mrs. John Swanson visited Mrs. Anna Potter at Hardy. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Johnson and Alan of Hardy were Sunday supper guests at the Jay Exsland home in Thor. Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Anderson and sons were Sunday supper guests in the Kenneth Fuhr home. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Marty and Norman of Hardy spent Sunday afternoon with Rev. A. Beckman at Western Home Cedar Falls, and visited with cousins Mrs. Emma Sandbragen and Clyde Howard of Waterloo.
