Final Rites Held Friday For Mrs Fred Speich

Funeral services for Mrs. Verena Marti Speich 77 of Renwick were held Friday at the Ivange Ebald church with Rev. Laurence Soll. She was born October 4 1858 in Canton Glorus Switzerland and came to America in 1883. She died December 17 1935 at her Renwick home leaving four children two predeceased, three stepchildren, a sister and brother in Switzerland plus 18 grandchildren. Burial was in Beumgart cemetery.

Sister Injured in Auto Accident Near Livermore

Minnie Lcott of Ewea City and Jane Helgason of Armstrong, Far Dodge teachers, were in a car Friday evening traveling home for the holidays when Helgason passed a truck and the car struck a cement bridge railing. Scoft suffered cuts and knee injuries from glass but was released next day. Helgason was seriously hurt. Their Chevrolet sedan was wrecked. Scoft is sister of Mrs. ired Raamussan of Renwick.

New Home Cafe Changes Hands
