The S U S Bridge Club gathered at Mrs. Wm Nissen's home on Thursday at 1 30 for a dessert luncheon and three tables of bridge. High score prize went to Mrs Floyd Lene after a draw prize for Mrs A H Stafford low score prize awarded. Guests included Airs EC Hansen Mrs Ray Abss Mrs John Walsh and Mrs Walter McPesk.

St Paul Lutheran Ladies Aid met at the church last Wednesday with a baby shower honoring Gail Susanne Langhols, infant daughter of Rev and Mrs R E Langhols. Renwick Women's Club moved its Christmas party to Thursday at Mrs Ralph Anderson's home with Mrs Plogsted co hosting and leaders Mrs Minnie Foley and Mrs Millie Long. Delta Deck Bridge Club met Tuesday at Mrs P Hi Seder's home for three tables of play. dessert luncheon was served. Prizes went to Mrs Chas Hinkley high, Mrs Paul Heggen low. guests included Mrs W P Wittmer and Mrs Harl Gimer.
The Lake W M F met at the church with Mrs Lloyd Jensen and Mrs Alfred Rasmussen hosting. Anna Tjelle led the lesson assisted by Ole Tjelle and Mrs Joe Heggen read. New officers elected include Pres Mrs John Rasmussen vice pres Mrs Stanley Sampeso secretary Mrs Magne Bjorklan treasurer Miss Bertha Heggen. Janet Elizabeth Heggen was baptized at Lake Church with sponsors Mr and Mrs L Baumann of Thon. Various family and hospital news follow with visits and surgeries noted.
Livermore boys beat Renwick 50 to 25 in the Friday home game as Carpenter and Granner refereed the first contest. The first half ended 25 to 11 with Livermore leading throughout the second half.
The second game featured the A teams with Livermore gaining a lead early in the half and holding it throughout. The final score was TA0, reflecting a steady performance by Livermore against a persistent opponent.
