Funeral Services Held Thursday for George H. Kelling
Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon at the Baptist church for George H. Kelling 71 who died last Tuesday after a short illness at his home southeast of Renwick. Rev R B Cook delivered the sermon with burial in Goldfield cemetery. He was born January 24 1870 in Liberty township Wright County and died August 19 1941 at his farm home south of his birthplace. He married Christina Miller in 1896 and they had nine children including Carl James Andy Grace Ethel Roy Flor Verle and Lucy. He was a past master of the local Masonic lodge and served as township trustee for 12 years and directed the Renwick Farmers Cooperative elevator.
