Attendees included Cora Homan Folkerts Homan Fonts Homan from Abbott and other relatives from Riceville Wheaton Story City Seaton Sioux City and Brite. Mrs Cora Homan is spending the week at the A D Gimer home.

Fire at Glen Martin farm destroys hired man’s car
Firefighters from the local department answered Sunday morning alarms at Glen Martin farm to quell a blaze in a double garage. Ted Kubick’s Ford, recently paid for and heavily reruled, burned completely but the structure was saved. Insurance had lapsed two days earlier.
