Evangelical United Protestant service times include Sunday School at 10 a.m. and Morning worship at 11 a.m. Bible study is scheduled for Wednesday evening at 7 30. Choir practice will be held Thursday evening at 8 00.
The senior confirmation meets Saturday at 9, junior confirmation at 2:30, Sunday School at 10, worship at 12, and Young Peoples Luther League gathering Sunday evening with visiting Luther League guests. Details include hosts, recreation leaders, and upcoming events with local groups and the Waldorf College Choir performing April 29.
The AEENWICK TIMES notes meals hosted with Jean Barra and Evelyn McCormick plus families at Perry and Marathon visits by the Grey and Kaye households. Renwick hosts softball league plans, mission classes, and worship service activities with registrations from 3:00 to 3:30. Hardy district WSCS holds meetings in Emmetsburg and Estherville with multiple rehearsals through late April.
Rev Edward Redfield leads Baptist services with Sunday School at 10 a m and church service at 11 a m St Pauls Lutheran Church lists A L Braunschweig as pastor with Sunday School at 9 30 and worship at 10 30.
Mrs Maurice Martin and others attended the county extension meeting in Clarion Monday afternoon. Charles Keith of Rowan and family were supper guests in the Donald Clowes home Sunday. Latimer resident Mrs Clark Granfield stayed overnight with the Martins. Lawrence Nerem family and Mike Huntley visited Britt at the Orville Nelson home. Gay Hill and Mel Hill visited the Nerems in Eagle Grove Friday night.
Visitors over the past week call at the Chet Edwards home to see Mrs Robert Smith and Mrs Carrie Enge who have been ill. Among the guests are Kenneth Ganson Eagle Grove Joel Janson Clarion Andrew Thompson Eagle Grove Harold Borel Clarion Alta Mrench W E McGowan A T Bader Schneider and Roger Les Stockdale and Hilman Skiye. Robert A Smith Ottumwa spent weekend with wife ill with glandular fever staying at Edwards home. Henry Stockdale Kenosha Wis and Mary Stockdale visited Hefti home and left for Eagle Grove after few days. Baptisms were held at Lake Church for Eugene Dale Vorland Timothy John Knutson Gary Eugene Norttrop. Family dinners were held and several neighbors visited.
