Renwick Town Council Holds Multiple Sessions on Budgets and Bids
The Renwick Town Council met in regular and special sessions on July 2, 8, 9, and 16 1968 to approve minutes and finance reports discuss the 1969 budget hearing schedule set overtime pay for town workers adjourn and consider a chemical feed pump purchase and waste collection bids city officials oversaw athletic field lighting and school supervision of electricity costs and utility matters.

Sealed bids opened after 8:00 p.m. deadline with two proposals. Beck Excavating Co of Clear Lake bid $159 797.00 accompanied by $8 000.00 certified check. Greiman bid $170 537.84 with $8 750.00 check. Mayor Green and council approved Beck as lower bid and plans and specs were adopted.
