Fayette voters approve 5.7 million school levy in Fayette County
Fayette County voters backed the annual 5.7 million school levy by 69.5 percent in Tuesday's general election with 5,377 yes and 2,359 no. The levy raises the combined school budget to about 10.7 million and funds technology, textbooks, and personnel. Superintendent Larry Coleman credited broad local support and community involvement for the margin.
