Health board and bowling centers reach accord on smoking areas
Raleigh County Board of Health approved an amended indoor smoking ordinance after a compromise with Leisure Lanes Accu Lanes and the Raleigh County Tobacco Coalition. The plan lets smoking areas run along walls behind lanes, easing the shift from a fixed smoking zone. The budget for next year totals 836,683 dollars with most funds for personnel and operating costs.
