Englishman denied bid for new attorney after counterfeit case
John Patrick Doyle 49 of Liverpool and his son John Joseph Doyle 28 were convicted in Fayette County of conspiracy and passing counterfeit currency totaling 11,200 dollars brought from the United Kingdom. Judge Robert C. Chambers refused to replace Doyle's counsel and noted no record of government misconduct. Sentencing date pending.
