Grand jury indicts Greenbrier man on 17 sex abuse counts

Greenbrier County grand jury indicted 50 year old Ronceverte man Michael L. Province on twelve counts of third degree sexual assault and five counts of sexual abuse by a parent or guardian involving a 12 year old in his care. Arraignments scheduled for Friday and June 10. Numerous other defendants named include Royce Burdette, Roger Eggleston, Jeffrey Evans, Norman Cline, and Jason Burdette among others facing varied charges from murder and DUI to burglary and fraud.

Study Workshop Prep For West Virginia State Contractor Exam

The Home Builders Association of West Virginia and Contractor's License Center offer a two day study workshop to prepare for the State Contractor Examinations. A Boone County man missing seven days was found dead near U S 119, authorities say. Officials believe a fall caused his death as the investigation continues. In Charleston, Raymond Stewart of Stewart s Tree Service received nearly 16 years in federal prison for meth sales in 1994 95 and related flight from custody. In Martinsburg, Jack Hardy surrendered after abducting his wife and driving through three states, ending with a hospital visit.
