Behind the scenes figure in state events keeps celebrity company
Anderson, a Charleston archivist and longtime aide to dignitaries, has accumulated memorabilia from presidents and stars. He recalls meeting JFK, Clinton, Bush, Ali, and Retton while helping arrange state functions and pageants. He plans to donate much to a new local library museum and jokes about living four lives.
