Farewell to Roy Rogers draws hundreds in Apple Valley
In Apple Valley California hundreds of Roy Rogers fans gathered under a hot windy sky to honor the singing cowboy at a public memorial service. The event featured family, friends, and a 13 mile procession to the Roy Rogers museum in Victorville followed by a horse drawn hearse and private burial. Rodgers career spanned 87 westerns and a 1950s TV series with his wife Dale Evans contributing Happy Trails to You.
