Columbia HCA plans a stock sale of Center in Ronceverte to NetCare Health Systems Inc. Both Nashville based firms signed a letter of intent and expect a smooth transition within 90 days. Man pleads guilty to transporting nickel theft
Tracy E. Sexton, 36, pleaded guilty in federal court to interstate transport of stolen nickel. He admitted stealing eight barrels of nickel on Oct 23, 1997 from Kentucky Electric Steel in Ashland, Kentucky and transporting it to West Virginia. He faces up to 10 years and a $250,000 fine at sentencing in September.

Greenbrier County road to reopen after mud slide delay
