Seven Immigrants Die in Desert North of Salton Sea
Seven people thought to be illegal immigrants died from heat exhaustion after waiting days in triple digit heat for a smuggler's van north of the border. They were found near a remote highway about 90 miles north of California’s border, with no water or luggage and were believed dropped off to wait.
