Four Boys Arrested In Tehama County Burglary Ring
Four youths 17 and 14 were arrested in Gerber after burglaries at Kent Pfrimmer and Vern Lack homes on Evergreen Road. A 14 year old was charged in a separate Ivan Smith residence theft of tires and a chain saw. Deputies seek an adult male and another suspect. Stolen items include cash tools a fishing tackle box and a four channel open reel tape recorder and amplifier valued at about 1057 dollars.

Couple Injured as Truck Drifts Off I 5 Near Corning
Red Bluff truck driver Donald R. Williams 24 and his wife Bonnie 21 were treated and released from Corning Memorial Hospital after Williams fell asleep at the wheel of a three axle tractor rig on Interstate 5 near South Solano Avenue and hit a chain link fence. Earlier, Joseph Perry 52 of Susanville escaped injury when his pickup skidded on icy State Route 36 about 35 miles east of Red Bluff.
