London mentions a possible new western army commander and reports two generals unnamed have been dismissed amid recent Allied successes.
Ardmore reports 47 dead after Monday blast as investigations begin to fix responsibility. City Attorney Russell Brown says Santa Fe railroad may be at fault for not parking a leaky gasoline car away from the city center. Wounded remain in hospitals, including 15 year old Otto McClurg who died.
J A Minnis relayed word from brother in law J A Madden whose store was wrecked but employees escaped injury. Madden faced heavy losses to stock.
