Denton Lodge No. 807 B P O E plans to lease the entire third floor of the Kincaid building on the square. An appropriation will fund partitions and furnishings. Planned layout includes a 60 by 25 foot east dance hall, a 20 by 25 foot east parlor, a 25 by 40 foot west pool room, private cloak rooms, reception hall, dining hall and gas kitchen.
In Our New Home we occupy our new building and invite customers and friends to inspect the conveniences arranged for the banking public. The bank pledges to serve citizens of Denton County with a substantial, serviceable institution equal to any in Texas. Ladies invited especially.
A. J. Bance serves as President with J. R. Christal as Vice-President and J. Coit as Cashier. E. D. Curtis is Assistant Cashier. Directors include A. J. Nance, J G. Christal, Ed F. Bates, Dr. J. M. Inge, Alvin C. Owsley, and John H. Paine.
District Agent Wm Ganzer of the Federal Department of Agriculture returns from West Texas where he promotes county demonstration programs. Cottle County joins the program with an $800 per year agent salary. Tom Green Nolan and Wilbarger counties renew contracts to continue demonstrations. Lubbock and Crosby counties may follow soon.

An X ray located the bullet that wounded Miss Lacy Hull at the home of GC F Evans last Saturday. She was sitting by a window when local youths fired a target rifle. The bullet lodged in her left shoulder after passing across the body. surgery will remove it with little difficulty.
Dallas Nov 20 Rev Robert Cook Buckner of Dallas was chosen for the twenty first consecutive year as Presidente General of the Texas Baptists at the opening of the Sixty Fifth Annual Convention. More than 2,000 messengers from across the state attend.
Ex President Taft warned that the United States should retain control in the Philippines, criticizing Governor General Harrison's actions and arguing Filipinos are not ready for self government. He cited a history of American occupation and predicted trouble with the Moros once a strong government departs.
