Weather Bureau South forecast calls for fair to warm early in the week with possible local rains later and falling temperatures in the Western Gulf States. James Bryce, British ambassador to the United States, has resigned and will return to England.
The Jess Pugh Company will headline the Normal Lyceum at the Normal auditorium tonight. The trio includes Jess Pugh baritone and reader Miss Elma Kinnison soprano and Miss Clarissa Max skilled instrumentalist. Pugh is a Redpath bureau find and has excelled as a baritone and dramatic reader. Kinnison trained at Oberlin and studied in Chicago. Max studied violin under Prof. Adolf Weiding and was his first assistant for two years.
A. J. Nance serves as president with J. R. Christal as vice president. J. C. Coit is cashier and E. D. Curtis assists as cashier. Also listed are E. F. Bates, J. H. Paine, A. C. Owsley and Dr. J. M inge as directors.
