Taft acknowledged Wilson's victory in Cincinnati as Fort Worth reports show Mayor Bill Davis losing renomination by 512 votes. Milam leads with 512, Wedgeworth posts 222, Allen reappointed Police and Fire, Smith Finance, Davis Street, Grant Water and Light, Littlejohn Assessor and Collector.
Fort Worth reports that work to double count the Dallas Fort Worth Interurban will shortly commence, marking a major expansion of the regional rail line.
