The Denton County National Bank announces its officers and directors. President W. B. McClurkan and Vice President J. L. Blewett lead the bank, with cashier B. H. Deavenport and other named executives including R. M. Barns, D. R. Turner, W. J. McCray, J. F. Raley, and G. H. Blewett.
Associated Press dispatch from Seattle reports that comparatively few sailors joined last night’s riots, with about 85000 dollars in property damage for Industrial Workers of the World and Socialist groups. Officers were at a dance, while sailors attacked Socialist and I W W headquarters, and the crowd mistakenly damaged the Salvation Army room.

Mrs. C B Randell wife of the former congressman of Sherman died in Mineral Wells yesterday from organic heart trouble.
J A Dunlap, 38, a Fort Worth cabaret singer, was shot twice by his wife at 10 this morning in a city hotel. She then took poison but was saved. both are in the county jail. The wife claimed he was out with another woman prior to a quarrel that sparked the fatal attack.
