Feb 19 report says Representative D C Kelly contracted meningitis at home near Kaufman after a week away from the Legislature. In Austin on Feb 19 barring unforeseen contingencies, Monday is set to mark the resumption of legislative work as the House failed to reach a quorum yesterday with forty members in attendance. The Capitol had been cleaned and members were to be examined by Health Department officials on return.
