Vernon Feb 14 The defense offered a surprise claiming J B Sneed was not in disguise when he killed Al Boyce Jr State attorneys expect the defense to concede Sneed wore a false beard during the incident.
In Vernon on Feb 14 the panel for the J. B. Sneed case was filled with three more jurors chosen. The panel includes ten farmers, all twelve are married with children. Sneed pleaded not guilty at arraignment on Thursday ahead of Friday’s testimony.
New York February 14. James Purcell a gambler who testified before the aldermanic police graft investigation quarreled with his wife and began shooting. His wife fainted and bullets killed his 13 year old daughter as she lay in bed. Purcell surrendered claiming shunning by friends and harassment by police.
