Former Methodist pastor Rev Dr M. N. Neely who led Denton First Church from 1902 to 1904 died in San Antonio while wintering there. A Gainesville resident, his funeral and burial were held Tuesday afternoon with Denton clergy expected to attend. Cause of death not released but believed to be due to old age.
