Dispatch from Mexico City reports 200 Zapatas killed in the retaking of Morelos by federal forces on Monday. Federal troops also suffer losses and rebels reportedly surrendered in Zacatecas department.
In Dallas on April 24 Fannie Richardson, a 70 year old Black woman, was struck in the heart with a brick bat and died within minutes. An officer was arrested in connection with the case.

Fort Worth April 25 Associated Press reports County Attorney Baskin says the arson case against Rev J Frank Norra will proceed regardless of the perjury verdict. Capt Bill McDonald retained by the church reportedly holds two affidavits claiming payments to burn the church. Affidavit details are not disclosed.
In Fort Worth Judge Simmons district court the jury found Rev. J. Frank Norris not guilty on the perjury charge. Supporters crowded his wife with tears and cheers while jurors were thanked. The verdict came after three ballots and Norris spoke of confidence and goodwill toward opponents.

Two hundred five Titan ic victims bodies have been recovered by the Mackay Bennett off Halifax. The ship wires most victims will not be recovered to surface and bodies lie scattered for miles, with warnings to passing ships to avoid the area. N H Stanley, 55, longtime Pilot Point resident, died at home Wednesday from heart trouble. Survived by three daughters and five sons including H B Stanley of this city. Burial held Thursday in Pilot Point. brothers Dolph and Napoleon Stanley were former Denton residents.
Iowa voters rejected the favorite son candidacy of Senator Cummins and endorsed President Taft in Cedar Rapids. The April 25 result marks Taft's support in a key Iowa contest amid national campaigning and party dynamics.
Dr. C. B. Williams of the Baptist Theological Seminary faculty will preach at both services Sunday at First Baptist Church Fort Worth. The church has not yet filled the pastorate after Dr. M. T. Andrews resigned, leaving the position vacant.

MART April 25 The prohibitionists carried Mart by a majority of eighty four votes in yesterday's election. Mart had been wet for some time.
Mrs Yancey, mother of Mrs R H Garrison of this city, died in Carthage Missouri after two months bed confinement. She was 83. A telegram from Mrs Garrison announced the death and she had gone to Missouri about a month ago with her sister Mrs Om Ransom of Boulder Colorado. Interment took place in Carthage on Thursday.
