Fort Smith Ark April 24 A bank at Midland near here was robbed of eight thousand dollars this morning. The robbers dynamited the vault and safe. Suspects identified as Yeeros fled from the scene following the blast. Local authorities investigated the heist and secured surveillance footage.
Abilene April 24 The jury found Judge Thomas L Blanton not guilty on the first ballot in the case charging him with violating quarantine laws. The verdict ends the long trial that drew local attention and courtroom debate.
