Funeral Rites Thursday For Former Bud Youth
Funeral services for A-2C Almer Deel Smoky ling of Mullens will be held Thursday at the Spanishburg Baptist Church with burial in Bowl Cemetery. Deel, 21, reportedly was struck by a car and died later at a hospital in Charleston. He was stationed at Keesler Air Force Base Biloxi Mississippi. Military rites will be conducted at the grave by Guthrie Air Force Station Charleston. The body will arrive in Bluefield Wednesday and be accompanied by A2C Larry J Cox. It will be removed to Bailey Funeral Home Princeton then to the Deer residence at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
