Lusk Funeral Set Tuesday
Funeral services for Paris Arnold Lusk 53 of MacArthur will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Hollywood Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Beryl Long presiding. Lusk died Sunday afternoon after a several months illness. He was born September 12, 1905 in Duhring, son of Freeling J. Lusk and the late Virgie Valery Lusk. He worked as a mine foreman for Lillybrook Coal Affinity and was a member of Loyal Order of Moose No. 1606. Surviving are his widow Bonnie Lusk a son Paris Arnold Jr. at home a daughter Mrs. Mildred Lilly of Albion Mich five brothers Curtis Curtis of Pemberton Vernol and Woodrow both of Shady Spring Herbert of West Point NY and Paul of Payne Gap Ky one sister Miss Victoria Lusk of Pemberton and one grandchild. The body will lie at Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home until one hour before services. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Mason Fink Connie Lively Ira Hurt Carlisle Lilly Steve Harrison and Marvin Rasco.

Father and son held for killing three in Kentucky
In Barboursville Kentucky a father John Tommy King and his son J B King both 17 were arrested on murder warrants after a dispute over a cow led to the shooting of Nathan Honeycutt 64 his son Thomas 43 and nephew Joe Honeycutt Jr 34 near their home. Cecil Honeycutt 11 witnessed the shooting from the car. The Kings surrendered at the sheriff's office later each carrying pistols.
