Fayette Mount Hope water system purchase on docket

The Public Services Commission scheduled a hearing today on Mount Hope's plan to buy the Fayette Homes water system serving 350 customers in Kilsvik MacDonald Derrydale Lee Price Hill and Oswald for 14000 plus 61000 for repairs and additions. Also set were Oak Hill Airport applications for scheduled service between Oak Hill Huntington with stops at Montgomery and Charleston and approval of a proposed charter service.

Coca Cola Bottling Plant Starts in Pineville

Work begins on a $125,000 Coca Cola Bottling plant in Pineville led by G A Mohler Jr with Wipperman Construction chosen to build a brick reinforced steel facility. The plant aims for a late next year opening and will resemble the Beckley unit with greater capacity to serve Wyoming County.
