Five Die In Auto Crashes Raise West Virginia Toll
Five persons died in West Virginia highway crashes bringing the state toll to 321 for the year. In Grant County near Petersburg three elderly residents, Frederick Rotruck 88, Ma bel Rotruck 78, and Wilfred Gillaspie 78, perished in a two car collision involving Arley Bible 55. Drivers Willard Burnes 24 and passenger Robert Burnes 13 suffered injuries. Additional fatalities included Mrs. Russell Byus and eight year old Judy Jeffries.
