Woman Dies In Fire In Huntington Tenement
Mrs. Leona Woods aged 78 was killed in a fire that damaged seven small apartments above a taxicab garage in Huntington. Deputy Fire Chief Russell Saunders said she wandered into a vacant one room unit during the smoke and darkness and may have suffocated after becoming confused.
