Two Itmann Boys Admit Burglary In Mullens
Police Chief Wendell Cook said two Itmann boys aged 12 and 13 admitted burglary of a private garage belonging to Mr and Mrs F P Hughes at South Mullens. The younger boy was caught in the act and implicated the older as having broken in previously, stealing various items valued around 200 dollars. The older boy faces juvenile court after another theft. State Trooper James Fairchild and Chief Cook continue the investigation with only a small portion recovered.

Six year old Wayne Childress of Oceana was admitted to Beckley Memorial Hospital at 3 p.m. Monday after being struck in the right eye by an arrow. The injury was listed as good.
