Cantley Given One Year Jail Sentence in Non-Support Case
Whitesville Charles H. Cantley received a one year jail term Tuesday for non support of his former wife and two children. Cantley appeared before Magistrate Charles Casto after being picked up by Cleveland police. He had a war rant issued here May 13, 1957 and was arrested in Cleveland November 1 for a traffic violation before being brought back to Boone County.

Three Falls Send Three to Wyom ing General Hospital
Three persons were treated at Wyoming General Hospital for injuries from falls on Tuesday. Linda Haynes three years old escaped with minor head bruises after tumbling from a moving car. James D. McClung twenty eight fell from a ladder and was not seriously injured. Michael Lee McKinney eight suffered a possible left arm fracture after a fall at school. Rate of support is two hundred dollars monthly since September 1955, with about three thousand dollars behind.

Itmann Elementary School pupils are being served free hot lunches. the PTA will cover costs until the next meeting January 20 to decide on continuing free lunches. A box supper is planned for 6 pm Saturday at the school with dancing afterward. Auctioneer Oval Easterling will lead auctions including a pretty girl take and other prizes. Local residents Eugene Francis and others will advertise the event.
