HINTON Miss Bobcat Beverly Lively of Bellepoint will reign as Miss Bobcat at the Thanksgiving Day grid classic against Beckley with attendants I Turner and Susan Ball. Beckley will be represented by Sonja Carper as Miss Flying Eagle with attendants Diana Powers and Peggy Daniels. A goodwill banquet for 26 school and civic leaders will be held in the Memorial building with ticket sales starting soon.

Mount Hope Lions Attend Zone Meeting in Kopperston
Mount Hope Lions Club officers James A. Rowe president and L. D. Clark secretary attended a zone meeting in Kopperston Monday night. About 18 representatives from Mount Hope Beaver Mullens Bree and Welch were present. Zone Chairman Lawrence Pruitt presided as members discussed club problems and possible solutions. The next zone meeting will be held early next year in Mount Hope.

Osborne Funeral Held in Princeton
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday for Mrs. J. C. Osborne of Princeton born December 20 1873 in Tazewell Virginia. She died Saturday at 8 30 a.m. and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery. She was survived by her husband six children and five siblings.

Local Club Reports Fundraiser and Plans for December 1 Sale
Deleg provided by the usecia them which netted $104.79 from the acted carnival sponsored tarlier this month according to the treasurer's report. A balance of $15.35 remains in the treasury from last year. The secretary's report accounted for 41 paid members in sale. To add to the piano fund the Association Monday night made plans for sponsoring a combination box supper and bake sale at the school December 1 with the program committee charged with social arrangements.
