Esther Mills Farley Rites Planned in Oak Hill
Esther Mills Farley 76 of Oak Hill died at her daughter’s home in Fayetteville following a seven week illness. She was born November 20 1872 in Egeria Raleigh County and was a Church of God member and Gold Star Mother. Survived by three sisters and numerous children grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral at Bunker Hill Church of God 2 30 pm Wednesday with ministers from Parkersburg Coal City and Oak Hill. Burial at Highlawn Memorial Park.

Hobart Stanley a 48 year old miner from Micajah Ridge is listed in satisfactory condition at Raleigh General Hospital Beckley after being struck by a falling rock at the Alpeca mine belonging to Gaston Coal company. He suffered nose and rib fractures abrasions to the right side of his head and face and injuries to his right wrist and leg. The incident occurred around 2 pm yesterday during overhead timbering.

Injunction Granted Restricts Princeton Pickets
