Insurance Benefits Set Aside by Supreme Court

Supreme Court reversed Mercer County judgment awarding $600 each to Eva E Davis and Glenn Davis from Combined Insurance Co of America in deaths of Curtis B Davis and Earl McKinley Davis in a Sept 4 1950 truck motorcycle collision. The justices ruled the insureds were not walking or standing on a public highway when struck, and the burden rests on beneficiaries to prove indemnity with sufficient evidence.
