Mahan Rises Set For Wednesday
Funeral services are planned for Annie Laurie Mahan at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Fayetteville Presbyterian Church with Rev. C. W. McNutt officiating. Burial will be in Highlawn Memorial Park. Liquor Ration Books Start Tomorrow in Mullens
Mullens officials announce liquor rationing will begin tomorrow at 10 a.m. as Joe Jones, manager of the state liquor store, and four clerks open doors for registration. The new ration book resembles a meal ticket with a block on one side and a red block on the other, numbered 1 through 104. Cards issued to applicants will be kept at the store, with registrants asked to bring identification.
