Six Killed In Freak Aircraft Accident At Canton Field

Three Arrested On Murder Count In Middleburg Pa
Middleburg Pa May 23 Mr and Mrs Lester Gill and their sixteen year old daughter Zella were arrested on murder charges in the slaying of farmer Charles Gable. Sherman L Strawser, held on a death sentence for Gable’s murder, has a June 10 stay of execution. Strawser, a farm hand for Gable, admitted plans to rob to fund the girl’s trousseau and claimed Gill threatened to arrest him on a morality charge involving Zella if he did not rob Gable.
