Pair Confesses To Auto Thefts In Mercer County
Lelan Verri Kennard, 22, of Missouri alias James Cole, and Freeman Donahue of Hotchkiss confessed to stealing a 1942 Buick wagon found burned near Mullens last week. They also admitted taking a 1939 Mercury with California plates held in Mullens. Arson charges await Wyoming County Grand Jury action. The Buick was owned by Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Clyde Bourne of Princeton.
