Johnson urges Congress to cut excise taxes by 4 billion

Weekend Traffic Mishaps Kill 4 In West Va
United Press International reports four people died in West Virginia traffic accidents over the weekend, raising the highway death toll to 143, 17 fewer than a year ago. Robert Lee Beckner, 25, Buckhannon, died after his tractor-trailer collided head on with another truck on U S 50 in Doddridge County. Donald F. Porter, 37, Pennsboro, was hospitalized with a skull fracture and cuts. Woody Conner, 23, Glass, Va., was killed when a large truck struck the car he occupied.
