Three Arrested In Huge Capital Policy Operation
Three Charleston area men face charges in what Kanawha County Prosecutor Charles Walker calls one of the state’s largest numbers operations. Howard R. Board, William Patrick, and Allen Dempsey were held on possession of numbers slips with bonds set at 10 000 and 5 000 respectively. The trio’s arrests, by four state troopers, followed seizures of numbers slips gambling records and cash.
