Beckley Clubwomen Fund Drives Cancer Help In Raleigh County
The annual Galahad Memorial Cancer Fund benefit by the Beckley Woman's Club Fine Arts Department raised about 100 for Raleigh County's two cancer groups. Mrs Fred Roschi led the drive, nearly quadrupling the original $25 minimum set four years ago by Mrs Robert L Amick. The two campaigns split the total evenly after Raleigh County Cancer Association formed last year, doubling impact and supporting Camp Galahad near Charleston.
