Mrs Willie Fuller of Mount Hope died at 10:45 p m Wednesday at her daughter Mrs Mary Thomas's home in Mount Huge after a long illness. Born December 25 188 in Pulaski Virginia she was the daughter of Hat Joe and Kate Riley. Survived by a brother James Riley of Northfork. Body remains at Ritchie and Johnson Funeral Parlor pending funeral arrangements.
Matherly J. Farley of Daniels, aged 68, died Wednesday in a local hospital after a long illness. The body is at Hose and Quesenberry Funeral Home awaiting final arrangements.
In Saigon, a post office bombing followed four grenade attacks against US and South Vietnamese forces. Grenadiers on motorcycles struck two U.S. trucks, killing one civilian and wounding seven, including Marines and an Airman. A second volley minutes later wounded soldiers and civilians near an American truck on a major street. A later attack on two South Vietnamese Army trucks wounded a sailor and three civilians en route to work.
