Charley Merman, a 17 year old, went to the reform school until age 21 after being guilty of stealing a badge at Holloway Drug Store in Pineville, injuring Kennis Ask who later died.

Gus Horch 77 died at his daughter Mes. Bela Whitt’s Blairscill home at 12 30 PM. Born in 1870 in Konigsburg Germany he came to the United States in 1910. He lived in Wayelte County before moving to Mabscoll. He married in Norfolk one year and belonged to Advent Church. Survivors include Mrs. Elsie Stover Mrs. Marie Davis Mrs. Bertha Whitt and Julius Horch with 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements incomplete.
