Sophia High to Stage Friday Concert by Music Dept
Sophia High School will present a Friday concert at 7 30 p m under Arthur McInturff. The beginner band opens with Good Morning Twinkle Little Star and Yankee Doodle. The junior band plays Step Off March Birthday Serenade Andantino and Indian Dance. The senior band performs Now Let Every Tongue Adore Thee Monticello Overture Pleasant Valley Overture and Killarney Overture. McKay’s Musette features a clarinet quartet. The chorus sings America Our Heritage Every Night When the Sun Goes In This Is My Country Tell Me Why and Han Ska Love. A Danish Folk Song. A trumpet trio plays Chiquita, then King Cotton March and Westerners. The Silvertones perform You Made Me Love You Soft Winds and ABC Boogie. Band officer list and ushers are named.
